Key Stage 3 Manager

37 hours per week – Permanent – Term Time Only

Band 8 (scp22-25) £16,913.42 to £18,549.51 per annum

Closing date: Fri 31.10.14 at 1.00pm

We are looking for an enthusiastic person committed to join our friendly and supportive team as soon as possible.

The Key Stage 3 Manager is fundamental to the future success of the school.  Our students are happy at school because of the quality transition programme implemented in Y6/Y7; the clarity of our expectations and the consistency with which sanctions are enforced; the positive achievement climate which rewards good attitude to learning, the relentless drive to secure good attendance and punctuality and tracking of individual student performance and subsequent intervention to address any underperformance. You have responsibility for maintaining this for our Y7 and Y8 students.

You will become part of a fantastic Inclusion Team, line managed by the Assistant Headteacher in charge of behaviour and safety of students.

This is a non-teaching post because the role requires a colleague who is available permanently to respond to parental calls / visits; support teaching and learning by monitoring excellent behaviour for learning and regularly meeting students for progress reviews.
